San Francisco · Build Club · beginner-friendly
A San Francisco community for moms who want to use AI in real life — for work, home, admin, creative projects, and small automations that lighten the mental load.
Our mission
Moms Who AI is a community for moms who want to get hands-on with AI — not just read about it, but actually use it to make work, home, admin, and creative projects a little easier.
We believe moms, who already juggle more than most, are exactly the kind of creative, resourceful people who can build useful tools. We're here to give you the skills, the support, and the space to start.
No jargon. No judgment. Just a group of parents learning together, building together, and cheering each other on.
Practical AI skills you can use right away — prompting, no-code tools, automations. Start wherever you are.
Create small tools, workflows, pages, and automations that solve real problems in your work, home, or community — and share what you learn.
A supportive community that has your back. Ask questions, share builds, get cheered on.
Who we are
From engineers to first-time prompters, we're moms who believe in the power of community. The best builds don't come from working alone — they come from learning out loud, jamming on ideas, swapping wins, cheering each other on, and leaning on each other for help.
From the community
We're still testing out this guide! Let us know your feedback. A bunch of our moms are using this to build their home helper via Hermes Agent.
Read the setup guide →Reads the family calendar, checks what's already in the fridge, and sends the week's shopping list straight to her phone.
Three kids, two activities each, endless carpool swaps — wrangled by a little agent that lives in the group chat.

The video that inspired me to start building our household AI. Jesse Genet shows how five agents handle her entire home, finances, and work — this one changed how I think about what's possible.

A quick, practical intro to Claude Design — great if you want to try building your own pages and prototypes without needing a design background.

The apps our members are using to write, plan, prototype, build, and share AI projects.
For turning quick thoughts, school-run ideas, and messy voice notes into usable text. Useful when typing is not realistic but you still want to capture an idea before it disappears.
For planning, writing, research, debugging ideas, and working through complex prompts. A strong place to start when you want help thinking through a build, not just getting a quick answer.
For quick questions, brainstorming, drafting, learning, and trying AI in daily life. Useful when you want a fast starting point or a simple way to experiment.
For getting small websites, prototypes, and AI-assisted projects live on the web. Helpful when a Build Club idea needs a real link instead of staying in a doc.
For experimenting with AI-assisted building when you want to move from idea to working prototype. Useful for members who want to learn by making, not just reading.
Want in?
The first Moms Who AI Build Club cohort is for moms ready to learn by doing: choose a small project, ask questions, use office hours when you’re stuck, and share what you built or learned at Demo Day.
Two minutes, no pressure. We’re looking for curious, generous builders — beginners very welcome.
